Designed a complete iconography, style, spatial, and interactive overhaul of rdio’s mobile apps. It is continually being updated in a phased style launch. Here are some samples of new parts of the app that have come from this redesign.

Screentryck is a text based, flat, and monoprint style website. The images are multiplied on a black screen to keep the site style consistent and un-influenced by content.

László was inspired by a fictional website for László Moholy-Nagy, a Hungarian painter, photographer and designer who taught at the Bauhaus and later in Chicago. It is a clean and unobtrusive layout with a focus on geometric organization that follows the spacial alignments of a wide open grid.

ITO was designed as a modal template that followed the viewer’s preference for sorting or sorting detailed information by post. All posts types can be sorted by a user order-able collection, location, or chronological list. The gallery adjusts to the type of image by cropping or posting background space and follows a consistent full-screen gallery mode regardless of image type.

A template inspired by the print world of wide open space, pull-quote type over image treatment, and a dynamic post type system that adjusts to the media. Fully customizable color, size, and arrangement schemes.

A template design for a text heavy, or literary blog. Designed around a clean selection of type choices that accent each other with or without large amounts of content. Each post is individually colored and takes up a full window space, snapping to each post when (…) is clicked or at a scroll-threshold.

Inspired by a redesign of the New York Times website, this template is built to be scalable for a vast amount of content, categories, and menus.

Website template designed for Squarespace with the goal of making a documentation style site with minimal flair to be used as a visual blog, portfolio, or pin-board. The site features some subtle animation and iconography that can be altered in the Squarespace platform.

Redesigned Google’s core products (Search, Gmail, Maps, Docs, Calendar, Google+) with a small group of designers, creating a consistency in visuals and experience, using a minimal style that echoes cleanliness and ease of use.
